Angel Falls is a wonder of nature that will take your breath away! This impressive waterfall is located in the heart of the Venezuelan jungle, in the Canaima National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Angel Falls is 979 meters high, making it the highest in the world. Its name is due to the American pilot Jimmy Angel, who discovered it for the world in 1937, although the “Pemon” indigenous already knew it as "Kerepakupai Vená", which means "jump of the deepest place" in the Pemon language. To reach the Angel Falls you must live an unforgettable adventure, taking a flight to the indigenous community of Canaima, in the heart of Canaima National Park, navigating the Carrao and Churún rivers, surrounded by lush vegetation and unique rock formations called “Tepuis” the oldest rock formations on the planet (1.8 billion years old).
